2015 Sand Hollow Marathon: April 11, 2015
The Sand Hollow Marathon will run on April 11, 2015. If you have not yet run this course, then you're in for a treat! Our newly developed course, starting and finishing in the beautiful, small town of Hurricane, Utah and loops around Sand Hollow Reservoir, is only twenty minutes from St. George, thirty minutes from Zion National Park, and two hours from Vegas. This will be the fifth annual Sand Hollow Marathon, and as always, our goal is to provide the perfect venue. We believe we have the most scenic course of all; making this is a great race with a small town atmosphere. The scenery is fantastic, the volunteers are great, and our sponsors make it happen. We have listened to the advice of our runners and continue to improve and grow this popular event.
Come see why many athletes choose to run in Southern Utah. We are known for warm weather that gives all of our northern Utah runners a great excuse to make the trip to St. George. We hope to see you soon!
The Sand Hollow Marathon is growing. We enjoy having some amazingly fast elite runners as well as our ever enthusiastic costume crazies. This course is designed for every level and our amazing volunteers will provide you all the support needed.
The 2015 Sand Hollow Event will feature a new course that loops through the variety of scenic views offered by our venue. More information and a new map on this change may be found on our Course page.

Message from the Director
We were lucky to have some very special racers this past year. One man finished the race, completing 126 marathons. Another gentleman finished the race, and in doing so, he has successfully completed 2 marathons in every state! We saw athletes from Germany and Norway. We also saw many families return for a 3rd straight year; some of which brought their wives, husbands, or daughters who decided to make our race their first marathon ever.
Thank you all very much for sharing your stories and triumphs with us. It was a special treat to meet with you all. We have learned from this year and are already looking for improvements we can implement for the 2014 event.
